I called Legacy Texas Bank and they are aware of the scam. Do not give any info and delete the text with no response. They are phishing for people to give account info on their own cards.

"Call 8774000620 immediately to reactivate your blocked LegacyTexas_Bank_Debit-Card." Not. Don't text back either or they'll keep spamming you.

received 2 texts stating that my Legacy of Texas ATM card has been suspended. No such card exisits. Was told to call 877-400-0620 and came from email mevygh@txt.att.net. Responded that they have the wrong person to 2nd text and email was returned.

Received bogus message sent from gritsu@verizon.com stating that Legacy Texas Bank had deactivated my debit card..requested to call 1-877-400-0620...this is Fraud.

I received a text message from kdvsud@cingularme.com on 09/08/2009 at 11:06 am CST saying LegacyTexasBank has deactivated your 514705/54597-7xx debit card call security at 877-400-0620. I have no such account and have never done business with this bank. This must be a scam.

"Legacy Texas bank has deactivated your debit card. call security department 877-400-0620" was sent as a text to my cell from: rkrhey@atlmtaow01.cingularme. com i texted back: "f" off

The Bank of the Commonwealth has been notified by multiple individuals (mainly non-customers) regarding receiving text messages from us. These are fraud and should not be responded to.
